About Us

The DELTA Foundation is a mentorship program that specializes in helping at-risk youth in Louisville obtain the tools necessary to be successful academically, socially, and athletically. In June 2019, we opened the DELTA gymnasium, which is equipped with 3 classrooms and a high school-length basketball court where we currently have over 250 students enrolled in our various programs. In February of 2024, we opened our newest location in Newburg.

What DELTA Families Are Saying

We’re very appreciative & grateful for the DELTA Center. They’ve provided an atmosphere for my son & nephew to grow academically, socially, as well as helping their development on the basketball court. It’s definitely one of the best alternatives to the streets & mischievous activities around the city.

Kevin Woodson II, Parent

DELTA has helped the boys tremendously with their social skills by making new friends. I must say the boys basketball skills have improved over the years as well as their academics.

Tyler Woodson, Parent

The DELTA Family is amazing. They really care about our children and the community. My son had issues with his speech which impacted his reading & confidence. The DELTA Family worked with him and now he’s receiving A’s and is helping other students. I will forever be thankful and grateful for DELTA.

De Juanda Mathes, Parent

DELTA has become family to my two nieces and son. Delta picks my two nieces and other Carter kids up from school which is a huge blessing. Then helps them with homework and reading/study skills. They even allow them to have extracurricular time such as basketball training , make bracelets, and do gymnastics. The staff is also amazing. DELTA has truly been a great opportunity for my family to be a part of.

Sharnika Colbert, Parent

DELTA has been a MAJOR part of my family’s life. They have provided services to my children absolutely free when I have been financially challenged. They uplift and encourage the kids to do better each and every day. DELTA is family and I am forever grateful for the opportunities they provide to the community without a cost!!
